Associate Lecturer Gill Cowden, Kelli McClintock and Associate Professor

Final year USC Bachelor of Journalism student Kelli McClintock has been
named the Sunshine Coast Daily newspaper's 2008 intern of the year.
USC Associate Lecturer in Journalism Gill Cowden said Kelli was recognised
for her "strong work ethic, positive attitude, enthusiasm and
employability".

Kelli, said she gained valuable experience in the workplace and was
inspired by award-winning USC lecturers like Gill Cowden and Stephen
Lamble.

As part of her studies, Kelli also spent a "fantastic" semester
at Louisiana State University with the USC GO (Global Opportunities)
Program.
